Why stretching isn’t enough

Mobility Is Range You Can Actually Use

Flexibility is how far a joint can be moved. Mobility is how far you can move it yourself, with control and strength. That difference is why so many people stretch for years and still feel tight.

Your nervous system won’t let you use range it doesn’t feel strong and safe in. So the fix is rarely more static stretching. It’s building strength and control at the end of your range.

We assess where you’re limited and why, then give you a short, focused program that fits into your training or your day, not an hour-long routine you’ll never do.

How it works

How We Build Your Mobility Plan

We don’t hand you a generic stretching sheet. Your plan is built from your assessment and your goals, then progressed as you improve.

Most plans take 10 to 15 minutes a day and slot right into your existing training.

Assess

Test the joints and positions that matter for your goals, and find what’s actually limiting you.

Target

A few high-value drills that combine stretch, strength and control at your end range.

Progress

Retest and advance your plan until the new range shows up in your lifts, runs and daily life.

Questions

Mobility Programming FAQs

Don’t see yours? Call or text (734) 707-7285 or read our full FAQ.

Do I need to be injured to work with you?

No. Plenty of people come to OLO to move better, prevent injury and train for longevity, not just to fix pain.

How much time will my routine take?

Most plans take 10 to 15 minutes a day, and many drills can double as your warm-up.

Is this the same as yoga or stretching?

It’s more specific. We combine stretching with strength and control at end range, targeted to the exact positions you want to improve.

Do you take insurance?

OLO is cash-based and out-of-network, which is how every visit stays a full 60 minutes one-on-one. HSA/FSA cards are accepted, and we can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. See our FAQ.
