A board-certified orthopedic specialist, a USA Weightlifting coach and a lifelong athlete, with one mission: keep you doing the activities you love and away from pills, injections or unnecessary surgery.

After years of working in physical therapy clinics around the country, including a spine-specific clinic where people with neck and low back pain often arrived as a “last resort,” Dr. Joe kept seeing the same problems.
Not enough one-on-one time. Rushed appointments. Insurance demands dictating the care plan. Cookie-cutter programs that didn’t match the person in front of him.
He knew his patients deserved better, so in 2020 he launched OLO Physical Therapy & Wellness. Every visit is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one. Every plan is built around your goals. And every patient leaves understanding what’s going on and how to take care of it.

As a retired physical therapist myself, I know the difference between a good PT and a great PT. Joe is one of the great ones. He zeroes in on the issue in no time, then begins the process of re- educating and re- training. Most importantly he stresses the importance of follow-through for continued improvement to achieve optimal life long fitness.
I’m a board certified ER physician and I’ve been seeing Joe at OLO for several months for various issues. He offers a wide variety of therapies and has no trouble going as in-depth as desired regarding the physiological/pathological processes. He’s very educated and is constantly striving to be better at his craft. I was in horrible pain initially and I’m very thankful for the personal attention and plan he came up with. Getting better now and I don’t hesitate to recommend him. Five stars A+.
